Malaysia

Malaysia has implemented entry restrictions, including health screening measures, in response to the novel coronavirus outbreak. Foreign nationals who have visited Hubei, Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces in China or Daegu city and Cheongdo county in South Korea will be denied entry into Malaysia, with exceptions for long-term visa holders. You may also be denied entry to Malaysia if you have visited other Chinese provinces severely affected by the novel coronavirus outbreak. Additional travel restrictions are in place for Sabah and Sarawak, East Malaysia.

We haven't changed our level of advice:

Exercise normal safety precautions in Malaysia overall.

Higher levels apply in some parts of the country.
