Norway's borders are closed to foreign travellers who don't have Norwegian residency or citizenship, though some exemptions apply. All travellers to Norway (including citizens) must register no more than 72 hours prior their arrival. Travellers arriving from high-risk countries must also have a COVID-19 test upon arrival in Norway. Additional restrictions apply to travellers arriving from the UK, South Africa, Ireland, the Netherlands, Austria, Portugal and Brazil. If you're travelling from a high-risk country, you must also present proof of a negative COVID-19 (PCR) test taken within 24 hours before you arrive. Norwegian residents are exempt from this requirement (see 'Travel'). We advise: Do not travel to Norway.
