Austria
We now advise all Australians to reconsider any non-essential overseas travel at this time, due to the health risks from the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and the significant disruptions to global travel. This includes to Austria.
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, land border restrictions are in place with Italy. Flights have been suspended from COVID-19 affected countries and trains are no longer travelling between Italy and Austria. Contact your travel provider for the latest. If you have travelled to Hubei province (China), South Korea, Iran or Italy in the past 14 days, you may be denied entry or placed under quarantine. These measures are being adjusted frequently. Follow the advice of local authorities.
