Bolivia
The Bolivian Government has announced a nation-wide quarantine from 00:00 on Sunday 22 March until Saturday 4 April 2020. Transit will only be permitted for the provision of food (one person per family) between 07:00 and midday, and for health reasons within these hours or beyond in case of emergencies. Bolivia has set a nationwide curfew between 5pm and 5am. During this time, everyone must stay indoors. Penalties for breaching the quarantine or the curfew include police detention. From 00:00 on 21 March, all flights into and out of Bolivia and transportation between cities and districts will be suspended. International land borders will be closed from 00:00 20 March. If you can’t or don’t want to leave, you should follow the advice of local authorities; take care to minimise your risk of exposure to COVID-19; stay in touch with family and friends so they know you are safe; and ensure you have suitable accommodation arrangements in place.
We now advise:
Do not travel to Bolivia.
