Botswana has declared a State of Emergency to address COVID-19 from midnight 2 April 2020 until further notice. The movement of all people outside of the home is restricted to essential services and the transport of essential goods. Foreign nationals won't be allowed to enter Botswana. All flights in and out of Botswana have been suspended and borders closed. If you can't or don't want to leave Botswana, follow the advice of local authorities, make arrangements for an extended stay and minimise your risk of exposure to COVID-19.
