Brunei Darussalam
The Brunei government has set up enhanced entry and screening measures in response to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. If you've travelled to Iran or Italy within 14 days of arrival in Brunei, you won’t be allowed to enter or transit. If you've travelled to China's Hubei, Zhejiang or Jiangsu provinces you will also be denied entry to Brunei. Exceptions apply to Bruneian nationals and permanent residents, who must self-isolate at home for 14 days. Expect enhanced health screenings at the border, monitor the media for latest information and follow the advice of local authorities. If authorities suspect you have COVID-19, you may need to stay in hospital or be quarantined. If you have symptoms of respiratory illness, contact your doctor before travelling.
We haven’t changed our level of advice:
Exercise normal safety precautions in Brunei.
