The only remaining direct flight between Canada and Australia is Air Canada's daily Vancouver to Sydney service. The last flight will depart Vancouver on 4 April. The service will then be temporarily suspended. If you want to leave Canada, do so as soon as possible by commercial means. Follow the Australian High Commission's social media for updates on flights. Australian citizens will be allowed to enter Australia without a valid Australian passport (see Travel). If you can't or don't want to leave, follow the advice of local authorities and minimise your risk of exposure to COVID-19. Stay in touch with family and friends so they know you're safe and well.
