Cyprus Ministry of Health has confirmed cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Cyprus. Turkish-Cypriot authorities have confirmed COVID-19 in northern Cyprus (see Health). From 0100 local time on 15 March all non-residents of the Republic of Cyprus (including Australian nationals) will not be permitted to enter Cyprus. From 0200 local time on 14 March Turkish-Cypriot authorities will deny entry to all who do not reside in northern Cyprus (including Australian nationals). Compulsory self-isolation measures and restrictions on mass gatherings are in place across the island (see Travel). Some crossing points between the south and north are closed. Follow the advice of local authorities and check with the nearest embassy or consulate of Cyprus for entry requirements.
