Ethiopia

We advise all Australians not to travel overseas at this time, including to Ethiopia. If you travel to Ethiopia, you'll have to undertake a compulsory 14-day quarantine period in a designated hotel at your own cost. If you’re already in Ethiopia and wish to return to Australia, we recommend you do so as soon as possible by commercial means. If you remain in Ethiopia, follow the advice of local authorities, take care to protect yourself from exposure to COVID-19, ensure you have arrangements in place for an extended stay, and keep in contact with family and friends back home. From 20 March, Ethiopian Airlines has limited its destinations and had stopped flights to 30 countries.
