France has confirmed cases of COVID-19. Cases are higher in the areas of I'Oise (Hauts de France), Haute Savoie, Morbihan (Brittany) and Haut-Rhin. Travellers arriving from or transited through China, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, South Korea, Iran or affected areas of Italy are advised to take precautionary measures. These include practicing good hygiene, reducing non-essential activities and monitoring their temperature for 14 days after their return. Authorities recommend cancelling large events or gatherings of more than 5000 people.
