Guatemala has officially closed its air, land and sea borders to transit. There may be limited flights available out of Guatemala City, including with Eastern Airlines (see contact details in 'Travel'). Exit may also be possible via land border crossings with Mexico using private transfers, including through El Carmen. But be aware access may be intermittent and travel is not permitted within curfew hours. If you can't or don't want to leave, follow the advice of local authorities, minimise your risk of exposure to COVID-19 and stay in touch with family and friends so they know you're safe and well.
