Honduras
Honduras has officially closed air, land and sea borders to transit. However, limited commercial and charter flights may still be available out of Honduras, including with United Airlines (see Travel) . If you're able to secure a commercial or charter flight, authorities may require you to present a Letter of ‘Salvoconducto’ from the Australian Government to facilitate your exit (See Travel for a link to a copy of the letter).
Curfews are in place in some cities, including Tegucigalpa, San Pedro Sula, La Ceiba and Choluteca. If you can't or don't want to leave, follow the advice of local authorities and make preparations for an extended stay. Minimise your risk of exposure to COVID-19 and stay in touch with family and friends so they know you're safe and well. If you need urgent consular assistance call +61 2 6261 3305.
