Honduras has closed air, land and sea borders to transit. Limited commercial and charter flights may still be available out of Honduras, including with United Airlines and Eastern Airlines (see Travel). If you can secure a commercial or charter flight, authorities may require you to present a Letter of ‘Salvoconducto’ from the Australian Government to facilitate your exit (See Travel for a link to a copy of the letter). A nationwide curfew is in place. Expect widespread closures of businesses, supermarkets, pharmacies, banks and petrol stations. If you can't or don't want to leave, follow the advice of local authorities and make preparations for an extended stay and minimise your risk of exposure to COVID-19.
