Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, India has suspended all international commercial flights for the time being. Domestic flights are also suspended from 25 March. Passenger trains have been suspended and metro services are limited and may be cancelled at short notice. Restrictions may be extended or change at short notice. Central and State Governments have also imposed lock downs and curfews across the country. Other restrictions on travel and business operations may also be imposed at short notice (see Travel). If you can't or don't want to leave, follow the advice of local authorities and minimise your risk of exposure to COVID-19. Stay in touch with family and friends so they know you're safe and well.
