Kuwait

Kuwait’s Ministry of Health has confirmed that coronavirus (COVID-19) is present in the country. Kuwait has introduced enhanced screening and entry arrangements. As of 8 March, Australians travelling to Kuwait from India, Bangladesh, Philippines, Egypt, Syria, Sri Lanka, Lebanon, Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia will be required to produce a health certificate (Polymerase Chain Reaction Certificate – see Travel for details) confirming they do not have the virus. If you’ve been in China, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Thailand, Italy, Iraq, Iran or Japan in the past 14 days you’ll be denied entry to Kuwait. Contact your airline, travel provider or Kuwaiti diplomatic mission for the latest information.

We haven't changed our level of advice:

Exercise a high degree of caution in Kuwait.
