Libya
In response to COVID-19, Libya has closed ports and airports and the border with Tunisia. Non-essential movement is also limited. If you wish to leave Libya, make arrangements to do so as soon as possible. If you remain in Libya, follow the advice of local authorities, take care to protect yourself from exposure to COVID-19. Ensure you have arrangements in place for an extended stay, and keep in contact with family and friends back home.
We haven't changed our level of advice:
Do not travel to Libya due to ongoing fighting, unstable security, and the high threat of terrorist attack and kidnapping.
