Macau

We now advise all Australians to reconsider any non-essential overseas travel at this time, due to the health risks from the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and the significant disruptions to global travel. This includes to Macau.

Macau has reported a number of COVID-19 cases. Additional screening measures and entry restrictions are in place. If you've visited South Korea, Italy, Iran, Japan, Germany, France or Spain within 14 days of entering Macau, you'll be required to undergo quarantine or medical observation for 14 days. Entry restrictions and medical screening are in place for travellers from other high risk areas, including parts of mainland China. Some countries have put in place restrictions on travel to and from Macau. Contact Macau authorities or your travel provider for latest information.

We now advise you to:

Reconsider your need to travel to Macau.
