Myanmar
We now advise all Australians not to travel overseas at this time, due to the health risks from the COVID-19 pandemic and the significant disruptions to global travel. This includes to Myanmar. If you’re already overseas and wish to return to Australia, we recommend you do so as soon as possible by commercial means.
Myanmar has put in place measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. If you've travelled to or transited through a COVID-19 affected country in the last 14 days, you may be denied entry or quarantined. The standard of medical facilities outside Yangon is extremely limited. Monitor your health closely and follow the advice of local authorities. Flights are being reduced or suspended. Contact your airline or the nearest Myanmar embassy for the latest on entry requirements.
