We now advise all Australians to reconsider any non-essential overseas travel at this time, due to the health risks from the COVID-19 pandemic and the significant disruptions to global travel. This includes to New Caledonia. New Caledonia has implemented new entry measures in response to coronavirus (COVID-19). Expect increased screening at airports, and possible self-quarantine or isolation. If arriving by ship, you won’t be able to leave it if you've visited certain countries in the past two weeks. If there is a risk of COVID-19 on a cruise ship, no one will be allowed to disembark. Ports in the Loyalty Islands (Mare and Lifou) and the Isle of Pines are not currently accepting cruise ships. Check with your airline, cruise or tour operator to confirm you meet all entry requirements and for changes in schedules. See Travel.

تنضم واتساب إلى خدمات الدفع الإلكترونية العالمية بدعم من خدمة فيس بوك Facebook Pay والبداية مع البرازيل. أعلنت شركة واتساب عن إطلاق خدمة دفع إلكترونية عبر المحادثات في التطبيق، لتتيح بذلك للمستخدمين إرسال الأموال إلى الأصدقاء، أفراد العائلة، والدفع مقابل المشتريات والخدمات عبر متاجر فيس بوك بكل سهولة. وستبدأ الخدمة الجديدة من البرازيل التي تُعد من أهم الأسواق العالمية للشركة الأم، فيس بوك. خدمة الدفع عبر واتساب ستكون مدعومة من خدمة Facebook Pay للشبكة الأم، بمعنى أنه يمكن استخدامها من خلال نفس المعلومات. كما أنها مدعومة من عدة مؤسسات مالية وبنوك برازيلية، ليتمكن بذلك عملاء البنوك من استخدام بطاقات الائتمان الخاصة بهم بالخدمة. تقول واتساب أن خدمة الدفع ستساعد نحو 10 مليون مشروع متناهي الصغر في البرازيل لتحسين مبيعاتهم خاصة بظل الأوضاع الحالية. ستكون الخدمة محمية بخصائص مثل بصمة الأصبع ورمز PIN لضمان خصوصية المستخدم وعدم وصول أي شخص للمعلومات الخاصة به. وبالحديث عن رسوم الخدمة، فإنها ستكون مجانية للمستخدمين في حال إرسال الأموال واستقبالهم من الأصدقاء أو أفراد العائلة، وكذلك عمليا...
