Peru
Lima's civilian airport is closed but there are still options for aircraft to depart. There is a process in place with the Peruvian government to allow confirmed passengers on flights to be transported to airports. It is not done individually. You should not attempt to travel. If you can’t leave or choose to stay, and are safe, remain where you are.
If you have booked on the commercial charter organised by Chimu Adventures. Chimu will be in contact directly to keep you updated on its plans including for transfer to the airport. Please direct all questions about this flight to Chimu.
The Australian Embassy in Peru is working to identify other departure options and will put details on its social media platforms as they are made aware of them. If you need urgent consular assistance, call the Consular Emergency Centre on +61 2 6261 3305 (from overseas). Follow the instructions of local authorities.
