Romania

Romanian authorities declared a state of emergency due to COVID-19. The emergency regulations include restrictions to closed areas with more than 50 more persons across a range of venues and activities. Restrictions apply to other commercial premises. Authorities have temporarily suspended all flights, trains and road transport connecting with Italy and Spain. Foreign nationals arriving from Italy, China, Iran and South Korea will be required to enter mandatory quarantine or isolation before entering Romania. Foreign nationals who have travelled to or transited China, Iran, South Korea or Italy, may not be permitted to board flights to Romania. If you remain in Romania, follow the advice of local authorities, take care to protect yourself from exposure to COVID-19, ensure you have arrangements in place for an extended stay, and keep in contact with family and friends back home.

We now advise you to:

Do not travel to Romania.
