Solomon Islands

As of 22 March, Solomon Islands have issued strict new travel restrictions and will refuse entry to all non-citizens. All incoming residents from countries with cases of COVID-19, including Australia, will be permitted to enter, but will undergo mandatory strict quarantine for 14 days. Contact the nearest High Commission or consulate of Solomon Islands for the latest information. If you wish to return to Australia, we recommend you do so as soon as possible by commercial means. If you remain in Solomon Islands, follow the advice of local authorities, take care to protect yourself from exposure to COVID-19, ensure you have arrangements in place for an extended stay, and keep in contact with family and friends back home.

We continue to advise:

Do not travel to Solomon Islands.
