Ukraine

We now advise all Australians to reconsider any non-essential overseas travel at this time, due to the health risks from the COVID-19 pandemic and the significant disruptions to global travel. This includes to Ukraine. There are confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ukraine. From 16 March, all foreigners are banned from entering Ukraine unless you hold a residence permit. From 17 March, all flights, trains and buses to and from Ukraine are suspended. Schools, universities, cinemas, theatres, museums and entertainment centres have been closed and mass gatherings banned.

Exercise a high degree of caution in Ukraine overall.

Higher levels apply in some parts of the country.
