Afghanistan
Qatar Airways are considering a non-scheduled commercial flight from Kabul to Doha on 27 April 2020 if there is enough interest. You'll need to pay for this flight and it will be available to all foreign nationals. Contact Qatar Airways as soon as possible to register interest to secure your seat. This flight will likely be the last opportunity for you to leave Afghanistan. Visit the Australian Embassy in Kabul's website for more info.
Afghanistan has confirmed cases of COVID-19 and cases are likely to increase significantly. Kabul is in an extended lockdown in an effort to contain the outbreak. If you’re in Afghanistan despite our advice, be alert, follow the advice of local authorities and minimise your risk of exposure to COVID-19. The serious and ongoing threat of kidnapping and volatile security environment has not changed.
