Commercial flights to and from Albania are suspended and sea and land borders are closed. Register your contact details through consular-rome@dfat.gov.au for information on possible departure flight opportunities. Albania has introduced a number of measures in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Movements are not permitted from 5:30pm to 5:00am on Monday to Fridays and 24 hours on Saturdays and Sundays. In these times you must stay at home or in your accommodation. Any movements require approval from the Albanian State Police (see Travel). You may be fined or taken into custody if you do not follow this requirement. If you're staying Albania, follow the advice of local authorities and minimise your risk of exposure to COVID-19.
