The Burundi international airport in Bujumbura is closed indefinitely except for cargo flights. Visas will only be renewed for people already in Burundi. Tight restrictions are in place at Burundi’s land borders: entry and exit is subject to additional screening and crossing the border may not be possible. Land borders may close without warning.
