Iceland
Iceland has closed its borders to foreigners due to COVID-19 unless you can demonstrate your travel is essential. A quarantine period of 14 days will apply to all international arrivals. Large gatherings are banned and the use of public transport is discouraged. Departure options are becoming more limited and key transit hubs between Iceland and Australia have closed or are becoming severely restricted. If you remain in Iceland, follow the advice of local authorities and take care to protect yourself from exposure to COVID-19. Ensure you have arrangements in place for an extended stay and keep in contact with family and friends back home.
We advise you:
Do not travel to Iceland.
