Mauritius
Mauritius has extended its lockdown and curfew to limit the spread of COVID-19. Movement is restricted to essential services only. If, however, you're on the outer islands of Rodrigues and Agalega, the lockdown will end on 15 April with the exception of the education sector. Passenger flights are restricted to special authorised flights until further notice. If you're staying in Mauritius, follow the advice of local authorities and make preparations for an extended stay. Minimise your risk of exposure to COVID-19, and stay in touch with family and friends so they know you're safe and well. If you need urgent consular assistance call +61 2 6261 3305.
We now advise you to:
Do not travel to Mauritius.
