Mexico
The Mexican Government has declared a national health emergency due to COVID-19. All non-essential activities are suspended. Expect widespread closures of businesses, including hotels. Many states have imposed curfews and movement restrictions. In some states, you must wear a facemask if you go outside. If you're in Mexico and wish to return to Australia, do so as soon as possible by commercial means. If you're staying in Mexico, follow the advice of local authorities, take care to minimise exposure to COVID-19, and stay in touch with family and friends so they know you're safe.
We now advise you:
Do not travel to Mexico
