Morocco

It’s currently the Islamic Holy Month of Ramadan. You can’t leave your residence or be in public places between 7pm and 5am. Be aware of local laws and customs, and avoid eating, drinking and smoking in public or around people who may be fasting. Morocco is under a state of emergency to limit the spread of COVID-19. All non-essential movement is prohibited. You're only allowed to go out to work, shop for groceries or medical supplies, or for emergencies. Public transport is suspended. Moroccan authorities are extending 90-day visas and honouring foreigners' residency cards that expire during the state of emergency. If you're in Morocco, follow the advice of local authorities and minimise your risk of exposure to COVID-19. Stay in touch with family and friends so they know you're safe.

We continue to advise:

Do not travel to Morocco
