New movement restrictions have been imposed based on gender. Men are only permitted to shop for essential supplies on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Women can only do so on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. No one is allowed outside on Sundays. A strict curfew is in place from 6pm to 5am in parts of Peru; and 4pm to 5am in the regions of Tumbes, Piura, Lambayeque, La Libertad and Loreto.
