The Swedish government has extended its temporary ban on foreigners entering Sweden unless they are travelling from European Union Member States, the United Kingdom, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Switzerland. If you’re returning to Australia from a third country, you can transit through Stockholm Airport, though you will only be able to leave the transit area if you’re travelling from within the European Economic Area (see Travel). If you’re in Sweden and wish to return to Australia, do so immediately as departure options are becoming limited.
