Taiwan
Taiwan will only allow transit or entry to its citizens, permanent residents and special permission holders. For an official visit, contact your nearest Taiwanese representative office for the special entry requirements. If, despite our advice, you travel to Taiwan, you'll be subject to 14 days self-quarantine on arrival. If you’ve entered Taiwan on or before 21 March 2020 on a visitor visa, visa waiver or landing visa, you’ll be eligible for a second automatic 30-day extension. Contact Taiwan’s Bureau of Consular Affairs for details. If you're staying in Taiwan, follow the advice of local authorities and minimise your risk of exposure to COVID-19. Stay in touch with family and friends so they know you're safe and well.
Our level of advice has not changed:
Do not travel to Taiwan.
