Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe is currently in lockdown. During this time you're required to stay at home except for essential movement to seek health services, purchase food and for critical services. These restrictions can change at short notice. If you're returning to Zimbabwe you'll be required to go into mandatory quarantine for 7 days at a government facility. If you test positive to COVID-19 you'll be moved to an isolation facility. If you’re in Zimbabwe and you wish to leave, do so as soon as possible by commercial means. The Australian Embassy building in Harare will be closed to the public due to the lockdown but will continue to provide limited services. If you’re staying in Zimbabwe, follow the advice of local authorities and minimise your risk of exposure to COVID-19. Stay in touch with family and friends so they know you're safe and well.

We now advise you to:

Do not travel to Zimbabwe.
