Botswana
Botswana declared a State of Emergency to address the risks posed by the COVID-19 pandemic until further notice. The movement of all people outside of the home is restricted to essential services and the transport of essential goods. No foreign nationals will be allowed to enter Botswana. Botswana nationals and residents returning from high-risk countries will be allowed to enter the country and will be subject to a mandatory 14-days quarantine at a dedicated facility. All flights in and out have been suspended and most border posts have been closed. The Government has issued advice that masks/face coverings must be worn in public places, businesses and common areas of residential buildings. No visas are currently being issued to enter Botswana.
