Effective 28 May 2020, entry into the United States will be suspended for foreign nationals of all nationalities who have been present in Brazil (including in transit) during the 14-day period preceding their entry or attempted entry to the United States. There are limited exceptions so if you are looking to travel through the US, make sure to check US entry, transit and exit requirements. A number of states and municipalities in Brazil have extended social isolation measures and mandated the use of face masks in public. Brazil’s air, land and sea borders remain temporarily closed to foreigners, with some exceptions.
