Movements are highly restricted, especially in established quarantine areas, and may be expanded with little notice. There is a nationwide curfew. Essential services continue to operate, but at limited capacity. If you're staying in Chile, follow the advice of local authorities and take care to minimise your risk of exposure to COVID-19, make arrangements for an extended stay, and keep in touch with family and friends so they know you're safe and well.
