Restrictions imposed due to COVID-19 are relaxing in Germany. The German Government strongly recommends social distancing and the use of face masks in public. Masks are mandatory in shops and on public transport. If you're in Germany and choose to return home, we recommend you do so as soon as possible while commercial options are available. Check your route carefully with your airline or travel agent as a number of key transit hubs are suspending flights, including transits. If you're staying in Germany, follow the advice of local authorities and minimise your risk of exposure to COVID-19. Stay in touch with family and friends so they know you're safe and well.
