There is a state of emergency in Latvia. On 15 May, Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania re-opened their borders, allowing citizens and residents to move freely between the three countries. Non-essential travel and tourism is discouraged, expect health checks at some border crossings. If you’re returning to the Baltic states from third countries you’ll be required to self-isolate at home. If you’re in Latvia and wish to return to Australia, do so as soon as possible by commercial means. Please contact the Australian Embassy in Stockholm for assistance on +46 8 613 2900.
