Philippines
The Philippines Government has put in place enhanced community quarantine (lockdown) and curfews to curb the spread of COVID-19. If you travel to Philippines, you'll be subject to a COVID-19 rapid testing (RT-PCR) and quarantined in a government facility at your own cost. If you’re in the Philippines and wish to return to Australia, do so as soon as possible by commercial means. Options have become extremely limited and transit hubs have closed. Contact the Philippines Department of Tourism and airlines directly to determine available options. Qatar Airways and ANA are offering flights via other locations to Australia. Follow the Australian Ambassador's social media and check the embassy website for latest information.
We now advise you to:
Do not travel to the Philippines.
