Spain

Spain's land, sea and air borders are closed to non-residents. From 15 May, all residents who arrive in Spain from overseas, will be required to self-quarantine for 14 days in their residence or other accommodation. A State of Alarm is in place that limits movement throughout the country. The majority of hotels and alternative accommodation in Spain are closed. If you're in Spain and want to return to Australia, check your route carefully with your airline as a number of key transit hubs are closed or severely restricted. Follow the Australian Embassy social media accounts for regular updates on flight options for leaving Spain (see Local contacts for links).

We advise you:

Do not travel to Spain.
