Bolivia

All flights into and out of Bolivia are suspended, and international land borders are closed. You must observe social distancing and use face masks in public places. There's a curfew in place from Monday to Friday between 6pm - 5am. Vehicles can't be used on weekends but you can go outside on foot between 6am - 2pm, up to 500m from your residence. If you’re trying to leave Bolivia, the Australian Embassy in Lima and Consulate in La Paz are working to identify options. Follow the Australian Embassy on social media for updates on possible departure information (see Local contacts). If you're staying in Bolivia, follow the advice of local authorities, and stay in touch with family and friends so they know you're safe and well. For urgent consular assistance, contact the Australian Honorary Consul in Bolivia on (+591) 767 68787 or (+591) 706 10626.

We advise:

Do not travel to Bolivia.
