Bolivia
There's a short- term quarantine across the region of La Paz (including the city itself) from 12am Friday,19 June to 5am, Tuesday 23 June. No one is allowed outside and no vehicles (public or private), can operate during this time. Restrictions remain the same in all other regions of the country with a curfew in place from Monday to Friday between 6pm - 5am. Vehicles can't be used on weekends but you can go outside on foot between 6am - 2pm, up to 500m from your residence. All flights into and out of Bolivia are suspended, and international land borders are closed. Observe social distancing and use face masks when in public. If you’re trying to leave Bolivia, the Australian Embassy in Lima and Consulate in La Paz are working to identify options. Follow the Australian Embassy on social media for updates on possible departure information (see Local contacts).
We advise:
Do not travel to Bolivia.
