Finland
The Finnish Government is lifting some COVID-19 restrictions in a phased manner, though a state of emergency remains in effect. Travel within Finland is allowed but health and safety guidelines must be observed. You can only enter Finland if you're a returning resident or if you're travelling from within the Schengen Area and entering Finland for employment or other essential reasons. If you're returning to Australia from a third country, you can transit through Helsinki Airport. Follow the Australian Embassy in Stockholm social media accounts for regular updates on flight options for leaving Finland (see Local contacts).
We advise you:
Do not travel to Finland.
