French Polynesia
Confinement measures have been lifted in French Polynesia, though social distancing and practising good hygiene are strongly encouraged. International travel remains limited. French Polynesia is scheduled to reopen its borders to limited international flights with Europe and the United States from 15 July. You'll need to undergo pre-flight testing and provide documentation of negative test results before boarding. If you're in French Polynesia and you wish to leave, follow the Australian Consulate-General in Noumea’s social media accounts and website for regular updates on flight options. Please also register your details with the Australian Consulate-General. See Local contacts for links. If you're staying in French Polynesia, follow the advice of local authorities and minimise your risk of exposure to COVID-19.
We now advise you:
Do not travel to French Polynesia.
