Madagascar
A nationwide health state of emergency is in place in Madagascar with a curfew applying to Analamanga (Antananarivo) region and four districts including Tamatave. Movement remains restricted in these locations with specific hours for business operations and public transport. Wearing face masks is mandatory in many places. Check with your local authorities on special measures that might apply in your region. International and domestic flights remain suspended until further notice, except for repatriation flights. Check with your airline or travel provider for updates. You can also register with the Australian Embassy in Mauritius. If we become aware of any departing flights, we’ll share details via our social media or with those who have registered with us.
We advise you:
Do not travel to Madagascar.
