Peru
Peru is observing a state of emergency and curfews are in place. One person per household can go out to purchase necessities, visit shopping centres, or go to the bank. No one is allowed out of their houses or accommodation on Sundays. Exceptions are only made for medical emergencies. Movement restrictions may not apply if you have a travel permit (salvo-conducto) from the Peruvian authorities. If you're in Peru and want to return to Australia, and haven't yet contacted the Australian Embassy, register your details (see Travel). Indirect commercial flight options may become available (eg. via the USA).
We advise:
Do not travel to Peru.
