Poland
Restrictions imposed due to COVID-19 are relaxing in Poland. Face coverings are no longer mandatory in pubic spaces where social distancing is possible, but are still required in stores and on public transport. International flights are still suspended. If you want to return to Australia, there are still flights departing from Germany. You'll need to find a land transfer taking you directly to Berlin or Frankfurt airport. If you choose this option, contact the Australian Embassy in Warsaw (consular.warsaw@dfat.gov.au) who can provide a document for border guards. You must have a confirmed air ticket for departure on the same day as you cross the border. Monitor the Australian Embassy on social media for any updates (see Local contacts).
We advise you:
Do not travel to Poland.
