Taiwan
You can only transit or enter Taiwan if you're a citizen, permanent resident or have special permission. For an official visit, contact your nearest Taiwanese representative office. If, despite our advice, you travel to Taiwan, you'll be subject to 14 days self-quarantine on arrival. From 22 June, short term business travellers from Australia or other countries deemed "low risk" by Taiwan, will be eligible for a reduced five day quarantine period on arrival. If you’ve entered Taiwan on or before 21 March 2020 on a visitor visa, visa waiver or landing visa, you’ll be eligible for a fourth automatic 30-day extension. Contact Taiwan’s Bureau of Consular Affairs for details.
Our level of advice has not changed:
Do not travel to Taiwan.
