If you're an Australian already overseas and travelling to Japan, you won't be able to use public transport for 14 days after arrival, including any travel from the airport. Wear a face mask in public places, particularly on public transport and when in enclosed spaces. If you're a long-term resident of Japan and wish to return, you may only do so if immigration authorities grant an exemption to the entry ban. Flights to Australia are limited and flight schedules may change at short notice. Monitor media and follow the advice of local authorities.
